Why Give to NCSC?
The National Catholic Student Coalition serves Catholic collegians in campus ministry by providing them a unique opportunity of spiritual growth, formation of the Catholic identity, and leadership experience in the Church. Your support of NCSC will allow students to participate deeper in the Roman Catholic faith through networking with other Catholic collegians across the US; participating as the official voice of Catholic collegians through the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops; providing Catholic resources; ensuring a vision in line with Catholic doctrine; and partnering with other officially recognized Catholic campus ministry organizations.
How Can I Make a Difference?
The Annual Fund Appeal (PDF download) takes place throughout each year, and it goes towards supporting the general operating fund of NCSC. Gifts to the Annual Fund allow the Executive Board, comprised of student leaders, campus minister advisors, and an Episcopal (bishop) moderator, to meet on a quarterly basis in order to set the strategies of NCSC. Your gift will also allow for programs, such as the United Nations Study Session, Catholic Students' Week, the Annual Leadership Conference, and other programs and events sponsored by NCSC to strengthen students’ understanding of their faith and Catholic social teaching. Past donors have also supported special events, such as World Youth Day scholarships, supporting an NCSC delegate to international forums for Catholic campus ministry, and subsidizing the costs of hiring a consultant for strategic planning
Another opportunity to support NCSC is through the Conference Scholarship Fund (PDF download). Gifts to this fund directly benefit student members by affording them the opportunity to attend NCSC’s Leadership Conference. As college students it is challenging to finance tuition, living expenses, and to put forth the funds necessary to attend this beneficial conference. Students, who might otherwise be unable to attend NCSC’s conference, can have the chance to network and share our Catholic identity with others, deepen their relationship with Christ, and study Catholic traditions in a collegial setting.
